MCLE Specialty Series: The Ethics of AI In Litigation Presented by Jason Primuth

Satisfy your specialty MCLE requirement through SCAHRM’s MCLE Specialty Series Lunch & Learn Webinars.  The California State Bar requires that 10 of the 25 MCLE credit hours must meet specific content criteria in predefined categories.

SCAHRM has partnered with experts in the community to bring many of these specialty MCLE requirements to our members through an easy, convenient, and inexpensive, Lunch & Learn Webinar Series.

Between now and February 28th, SCAHRM will be delivering a variety of webinars from highly qualified speakers that will satisfy many of these specialty MCLE requirements.

Additionally, those who hold multiple licenses and certifications can also earn Nursing & ASHRM continuing education for qualifying webinars.

The Ethics of AI In Litigation Presented by Jason Primuth

Session Description

Recent public technological advances have and will continue to intersect the legal industry and affect litigation. This CLE will address the application of AI as a legal industry tool that can help facilitate efficiencies by automating tasks and be a useful tool in analyzing patterns and making comparisons as part of trial prep. Specific goals of this CLE course include educating the legal industry on what AI is and the benefits and challenges it encompasses, along with bringing awareness to the proper and ethical use of AI in the legal industry. Join us for this CLE as we determine the best way to balance innovation and responsibility.

About the Speaker

Jason Primuth

Jason brings a broad experience in court reporting technology. He founded NextGen Reporting, a deposition services firm which pioneered the concept of remote depositions. NextGen Reporting was acquired by Lexitas in 2017.

Jason was the General Manager of RealLegal and the Vice President of Sales at LiveNote, Inc. He also led the business development team at YesVideo and was instrumental in the launch and growth of the company’s successful YesLaw software and service offering for court reporting and litigation professionals worldwide.

As a regular presenter at conventions for attorneys, corporate counsel, and court reporters, Jason has educated thousands of professionals on the value and best practices of litigation technology. Jason studied international politics and diplomacy at the George Washington University in Washington, DC.

 

Continuing Education:

SCAHRM is approved by the California State Bar as an MCLE Multiple Activity Provider (MAP #18946) and a Continuing Education Provider by the California Board of Nursing (CEP #10552).

This activity qualifies for 1.0 MCLE credit hours toward technology and 1.0 BRN continuing education contact hours.  This meeting has been approved for a total of 1.0 contact hours of Continuing Education Credit toward fulfillment of the requirements of ASHRM designations of FASHRM (Fellow) and DFASHRM (Distinguished Fellow) and towards CPHRM renewal. Application for continuing education toward CPHRM, FASHRM, and DFAHSM is pending.

$20 for members; $35 for non-members for each webinar.
