Recent public technological advances have and will continue to intersect the legal industry and affect litigation. This CLE will address the application of AI as a legal industry tool that can help facilitate efficiencies by automating tasks and be a useful tool in analyzing patterns and making comparisons as part of trial prep. Specific goals of this CLE course include educating the legal industry on what AI is and the benefits and challenges it encompasses, along with bringing awareness to the proper and ethical use of AI in the legal industry. Jason brings a broad experience in court reporting technology. He founded NextGen Reporting, a deposition services firm which pioneered the concept of remote depositions. NextGen Reporting was acquired by Lexitas in 2017.
Jason was the General Manager of RealLegal and the Vice President of Sales at LiveNote, Inc. He also led the business development team at YesVideo and was instrumental in the launch and growth of the company’s successful YesLaw software and service offering for court reporting and litigation professionals worldwide.
As a regular presenter at conventions for attorneys, corporate counsel, and court reporters, Jason has educated thousands of professionals on the value and best practices of litigation technology. Jason studied international politics and diplomacy at the George Washington University in Washington, DC.
