As a lead handling high-complexity cases, you will apply your extensive expertise in healthcare risk management to advise senior managers on risk factors, ensuring compliance with policies and improving patient care.
Ideal candidates will have a background in claims management, with skills in reviewing medical charts, EPIC records, and familiarity with malpractice.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage professional liability claims for UCSF Health entities
– Collaborate with internal and external partners for claims/litigation processes
– Offer risk advice on various areas such as consent, patient behavior, and privacy compliance
– Keep abreast of regulatory standards and implement timely risk mitigation strategies
