Position Overview:

FWC has a current opportunity available for an Attorney. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of litigation experience in matters involving the healthcare industry and will be a current member of the California State Bar from an ABA-accredited law school. Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials as well as strong organizational, writing, and analytical skills.

Associate Attorney Qualifications:
• JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in California
• Medical background and/or familiarity with medical records and terms is a plus*
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must possess strong written and analytical skills, as well as be committed to exceptional client service.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to multitask
• Detailed-oriented and strong rapport-building skills
• Exercising a high degree of initiative, independence, and the ability to meet time frames in performing assigned tasks.

Associate Attorney Responsibilities:
• Consistently engage in the preparation of client-ready reports, formal and informal
• Independently manage a high-volume caseload
• Regularly handle court appearances and depositions/trial preparation
• Legal research, discovery, fact investigation, law, and motion practice interface with expert witnesses, social media investigations
