This session will discuss recent litigation trends from 2021 with an eye to 2022 and what Risk Managers can expect in the coming year. The session will also focus on risk mitigation strategies, with a focus on how Risk Managers can partner with their HR colleagues to defend and learn from claims. Lastly, the session will also discuss the process of creating viable and productive corrective actions during the life of a claim.

About the Speaker:
Kendra Ramada has a decade of legal experience in both the government and healthcare fields. Currently, she works as a Litigation Manager in the Risk Management Department at UC San Diego Health, a position she has held for three years. Prior to working in Risk Management, Kendra worked in educational compliance and for the State of NJ in the Attorney General’s Office. She obtained her Bachelor of Science from the University of Miami and her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University. Kendra passed the bar in 2010 and gained her CPHRM in 2019.
