SCAHRM on the Vine, A Curated Wine Adventure

Join us for an extraordinary, one-of-a-kind day discovering three remarkable, family-owned wineries along Paso Robles’ beloved historic Creston Trail—where each winery is closing its doors to the public exclusively for our group, and the owners and winemakers are personally guiding us through each intimate tasting.

Our adventure begins at Shadow Run Vineyards & Winery, a hidden gem known for its welcoming and unique charm. Nestled on a 150-acre ranch of rugged, natural beauty, Shadow Run invites you to slow down, breathe in the oak-covered hillsides, and savor its award-winning small-lot Rhône varietals and Malbec. During our private visit, the owner and winemaker will lead us through an intimate tasting, including a rare barrel tasting.

Next, we travel to Defiance Vineyard, a three-woman and veteran-owned estate built on grit, vision, and sustainability. Every vine is hand-farmed and hand-harvested with meticulous care. This approach yields premium Petite Sirah and Bordeaux varieties so exceptional that other acclaimed winemakers eagerly seek them. With the vineyard closed exclusively for our group, the Faulkner family will personally guide our tasting, sharing their story, their wines, and the independent spirit symbolized by their falcon crest.

Our final stop is Chateau Margene, widely considered the gold standard for luxury Cabernet Sauvignon on the Central Coast. Specializing in ultra-premium Bordeaux-style wines, Chateau Margene is known for extreme viticulture, meticulous winemaking, and an appointment-only experience. During our exclusive, private visit, the owners and winemaker will open their cellar to us and lead an intimate, behind-the-scenes tasting of their celebrated wines.

Throughout the day, you can relax and enjoy the journey:

  • Arrive and park at the first winery and let our minibus limousine driver chauffeur you from estate to estate—completely worry-free.

  • Midday, delight in a handcrafted luncheon reflecting the bounty of the Central Coast, a “story told in courses” prepared by Personal Chef Candice Custodio. And enjoy a special one-hour educational program designed to deepen your appreciation of the risk wineries face in the region.

  • Adding even more richness to our experience, a renowned Sommelier is joining us to provide wine education and answer questions about wine-and-food pairings designed to elevate our palates. This Sommelier partnership also unlocks generous discounts on wine purchases at all wineries—available only to our group.

As we are limited to 30 spots, this is a rare invitation to sip, savor, and experience the historic Creston Trail like never before—featuring private access, personal connections, barrel tasting, and unforgettable wines poured just for you.

You are encouraged to sign up now, as we are limited to 30 guests. https://cvent.me/o54kDD
