Legal practice is messy, but sometimes we come across intentional and unintentional ethical lapses. In this session, the speakers will address how we as lawyers must respond to ethical issues, keeping in mind our duties to our clients. We will also address how attorneys can remain fluent in new technologies and ensure proper technical support for complex situations. We will further discuss how to avoid advice shopping among clients. Another topic will be how to document discussions to protect attorneys and clients. Lastly, we will provide you with research tools to consider when assessing ethical situations.
