Experienced Risk and Patient Safety Leader in the role of clinical Risk Management and Patient safety in a large and complex medical center setting that includes a hospital and several ambulatory clinics. Downey Medical center is a 429 licensed bed tertiary care medical center. This role requires an individual skilled at state and federal regulatory and accreditation interpretation and strategic development, as well as an individual with a passion for driving operational initiatives through to completion in order to achieve and sustain established patient care and organizational outcomes..
Risk Financing, corporate compliance, claims management, and legal case preparation and review, are not functions of this role. Those duties are centralized roles within KP at a corporate level.
